Jamila, affectionately known as “Jam,” is our founder and president of our board. Jam is a servant leader and a kingdom influencer with a gift of faith. Her spirituality has kept her anchored in her family, business, career, and this journey called life. With over 10 years of experience in business management, training, development, and analytics, she has strengthened her skills in executing projects and administrative tasks and helping others! She graduated from Alabama A&M University, earning her bachelor's in sociology in 2011.
Because of her passion for business, she attended Liberty University, earning a Master's Degree in Business Administration. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, where she resided until she was led to open Bell Vie Boutique in Macon, GA, where, at that time, the city focus was revitalizing the downtown area. She took advantage of the opportunity to open a socially responsible business in downtown Macon, where she experienced firsthand the obstacles that entrepreneurs, small businesses, and communities faced. During this time, she gained knowledge, grit, and determination. She founded JP Foundation Corp, a non-profit corporation, to pursue public benefit and to help other nonprofits, churches, people, communities, businesses, and organizations develop their full potential.
Her favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Jamila and her family are faithful members of Harvest Rain Church in Fairburn, Georgia. She is married to her husband, James, and has two daughters, MaKayla and Kali. They reside in the middle GA area and are loyal Atlanta Falcons fans!
Abaynesta is faith driven and spiritually invested in kingdom building through community. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clark Atlanta University. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years and has served in the capacity of leadership for more than 10 years. Abaynesta has worked effectively across diverse, multigenerational workplaces. She can understand the interrelationships between multiple perspectives.
It is her contagious enthusiasm and belief in people that inspires them to become more valiant and valuable contributors in their community. She has explored entrepreneurship as an event consultant. It was through this experience that she further developed her gift of serving people. She found the ability to bring people’s vision to life rewarding. Abaynesta’ s faith and family give her purpose. At heart, she values the well-being of others and is passionate about helping people.
James is a natural-born influencer and leader who contributes his success to his faith. He grew up in West Macon in the Unionville and Green Meadow communities. He has a love and a passion for the Middle-Georgia community. Like many, he faced adversity but has overcome challenges by being consistent in his belief, exhibiting humility, connecting with the right people, and giving back to his community.
For over 15 years, he has served in the HVAC industry and with much hard work, dedication, and tenacity, James is now a Georgia-licensed HVAC contractor. He enjoys empowering others and building relationships in the community. James and his wife, Jamila, have 2 beautiful daughters they cherish. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, creating memorable experiences for others and working with young people
